New style for Haspa Marathon Hamburg medal

1.) Confirmation of Participation online

The confirmations of participation, for which many participants were already waiting for, are available now! If you own an Internet-enabled mobile phone, you can choose:

Download your confirmation by text message (analogous to the electronic boarding pass for flights – we are the first German race organizers to offer this!), or
Download the confirmation as PDF-file.

In both cases you can login with the known password at https://portal.mikatiming.de/marathon_hamburg/2011/en/. To let the confirmation be sent by text message your mobile number must be stored in your personal data – which you can still add.
The confirmation is currently available for all registrations received by 28 March. If you see a start number in the participants list you can download the certificate of participation.
Any subsequent registrations will be given a start number by the end of the month and thus make the download possible.
All the participants having no online account, can apply for under info@marathon-hamburg.de.
For all who do not wish to or can not use this service (this applies primarily to team registrations) confirmations will be sent by postal mail these days.

"Gesund ins Ziel" (Crossing the finish line in good health) is the motto under which the DIAGNOSTIK ZENTRUM Fleetinsel is currently offering all Haspa Marathon participants an attractive € 150 reduction on its basic check-up. The basic check-up encompasses a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation conducted in only six hours by specialists in the fields of cardiology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology and dermatology. People who do not manage to register for a check-up prior to the marathon still have until October 31, the date until which this special offer for all marathon runners is valid. Ideal preparation for the next big run!

In addition to the check-up, the DIAGNOSTIK ZENTRUM provides a range of other services of particular relevance to athletes and fledging athletes. These range from performance diagnostics through to personalized dietary consultations. "Proper, needs-based nutrition is of fundamental importance for sporting performance. This is a widely underestimated fact", explains Julia Ristow, nutritional scientist and dietary consultant at the DIAGNOSTIK ZENTRUM. Indeed, unsuitable food and drink habits can lead to problems such as premature fatigue, concentration and coordination loss, digestive problems or to the dreaded muscle cramps, which are the bane of many runners. A personalized sports nutrition plan can reduce these problems to a minimum. But that is not all: it also serves to improve performance levels as well as people's general sense of well-being.

3.) New style for Haspa Marathon Hamburg medal

$\"\"$ The medal for the coming Haspa Marathon Hamburg will have a classic shape again. In addition to the round shape the front side of the medal will be decorated with well-known Hamburg music buildings in the next three years. This year the series starts with the Laeiszhalle, opened 1908, followed by the Hamburg State Opera in 2012 and the Elbphilharmonie concert hall in 2013. The back will be kept simple and has space for engraving your name, time and placement.

Also in the 26th year, the medal will be gold. For us in Hamburg, every finisher is a winner.
