Athletics New Zealand – World Track & Field Champs Initial Selections Announced

has announced the initial selections for the World Track & Field Championships to be held in Daegu, Korea 27 August – 4 September 2011, in line with the 2011 World Championships Selection Policy.

 The four athletes named were all medallists at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India.

 A number of athletes begin Northern hemisphere campaigns in coming months and are expected to be added to the team.

 Further selections will be announced in June and the final team selection will be announced after 8 August 2011.
